Reserve Retirement Health Care and Identification
Reserve retirees access health care, military identification, and base privileges based on retirement status. Awaiting Pay status, Receiving Pay status, and Medicare-eligible status each have different ID cards, benefits, and privileges.

Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) for Reservists
SBP provides annuity income to surviving spouses or children if a retired Marine dies. Reserve retirees elect SBP at retirement with options for spouse-only, child-only, or combined coverage. Premium reduces retirement pay.
