Scope

MARADMIN 225/26, R 151350Z MAY 26, affirms the annual Command Climate Assessment requirement and gives 2026 DEOCS administration guidance. It applies to the Marine Corps Total Force.

• Para 1. All O-5 and O-6 slated commanders, Commanding Generals, and Deputy Commandants with 50 or more personnel conduct the annual DEOCS between 1 August and 30 November. Registration for the 2026 DEOCS opens 31 July 2026. Administration starts no later than 31 October 2026.
• Para 2. Commanders give all military and civilian personnel dedicated time during working hours to take the survey.
• Para 3. Commanders designate a survey administrator who completes JKO course Prevention 004, How to Conduct a Command Climate Assessment and Administer the DEOCS (5 hours), before administering. Integrated Primary Prevention Workforce personnel at levels 3 to 5 do not serve as administrators.
