MARADMIN 377/24 - Fiscal Year 2025 Class Dates for Cornerstone: The Commandant's Combined Commandership Course

Scope

MARADMIN 377/24 publishes Fiscal Year 2025 class dates for Cornerstone, the Commandant's Combined Commandership Course, at Marine Corps University, Quantico VA. Cornerstone is a two-week program preparing board-selected commanders, Command Senior Enlisted Leaders (CSELs), and spouses for command. Attendance is mandatory for commanders and CSELs prior to or shortly after arriving at the new command. Applicability is the Marine Corps Total Force.

Audience

• Board-selected commanders, command equivalents, and Recruiting Station Commanding Officers (RSCOs). Required attendance.
• Command Senior Enlisted Leaders (CSELs) for O4, O5, or O6 board-selected slated commanders. Required attendance.
• Spouses of eligible attendees. Authorized attendance at the Spouses Workshop at government expense.
• O5 level Sergeants Major. Attendance required within one year of Sergeant Major selection.
• O6 level CSELs. Attendance required within one year of being assigned to an O6 level billet.

Registration

• Lejeune Leadership Institute (LLI) registers attendees in MCTIMS course code M02L9L0.

Funding

• Active component. TECOM Formal Schools Training Support funds travel, per diem, lodging, meals, and incidentals.
• Active component spouses. MCU funds travel, meals, and incidentals (no lodging). Active duty Marine creates an invitational travel authorization for the spouse in DTS.
• Reserve component. MARFORRES G-3/5 Formal Schools funds Reserve Marine attendees and SMCR spouses.
