MARADMIN 465/13 - Mandatory Use of myPay to Create an Alternate Electronic Funds Transfer Account

Scope

MARADMIN 465/13 directs the mandatory use of myPay to create an alternate Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) account for Marines. The alternate EFT account supports redirection of pay in cases of emergency, deployment, or family member access during deployment. Applicability is the Marine Corps Total Force.

Audience

• Marines on Active Duty. Create the alternate EFT account through myPay.
• Disbursing officers and pay administrators. Track compliance through MCTFS.

Action items

1. Log into myPay at https://mypay.dfas.mil.
2. Establish an alternate EFT account.
3. Update the routing and account information as needed.
