Section 1

All non-judicial punishments awarded under Article 15, UCMJ, will be reported on the unit diary. Refer to MCO P5800.16_ and manual for court martial for items not affected.

Section 2

Dollar amounts will be reported by showing the actual dollar amount followed by a decimal point and two zeros.

Note: JEPES marks must be reported on the reductions of Corporals and below per Section 4 of this chapter.

Section 3

Use the following history statement if the reduction is suspended:

TTC HIS 000 HIST: NJP AWD (A) REDUCED TO (B) SUSP FOR (C) MO |

(A) 8-byte Effective Date (YYYYMMDD) non-judicial punishment date

(B) 3-byte Pay grade which reduced

(C) 3-byte number of months for which reduction is suspended

Section 4

If a previously suspended reduction is vacated, report reduction with the following HIST statement:

TTC HIS 000 HIST: VACATION OF SUSP REDUCED NJP AWD (A) |

(A) 8-byte Effective Date (YYYYMMDD) suspension vacated

Section 5

If a previously reported reduction is suspended, mitigated, set aside, or restored to pay grade, report the appropriate statement:

To report restoration of pay grade, use appropriate statement:

(D) Circumstance (that is, suspended, mitigated, set aside) and the 8-byte Effective Date (YYYYMMDD) of the summary, special, or general court-martial)

Note: In any case when an executed reduction is suspended or mitigated the DOR and the Effective Date will be the date of the mitigation or suspension unless the authority authorized to take final action directs that the date of rank be the Marine's original date of rank. In any case, when the reduction is set aside, the DOR will be the original DOR and the Effective Date will be the date of reduction.
