Hardship Duty Pay-Tempo (TTC 125, 136, 175)

Section 1

Marines who are operationally deployed for more than 220 consecutive days become eligible for HDP-T on the 221st consecutive deployed day. Refer to MARADMIN 619/14 for specific rules and exceptions governing this pay. Hardship Duty Pay-Tempo (HDP-T) is payable at a rate of $495.00 per month.

Section 2

HDP-T transactions will post to the Hardship Duty Pay 913 Remark with a type code of 'T'. MCTFS allows for HDP-T to run concurrently with HDP-L and/or HDP-M. Starting and Stopping HDP-T must be dated greater than 20140917, or they will not process. Report Hardship Duty Pay-Tempo (HDP-T) as follows:

a.  To start HDP-T:

136 003 START HDP-T ED (A) |

(A) 8-byte Effective Date (YYYYMMDD)

Note 1. The HDP-T ED is the 221st day of deployment, not the 1st day of deployment.

b. To stop HDP-T:

175 003 STOP HDP-T ED (A) |

(A) 8-byte Effective Date (YYYYMMDD)

Section 3

Credits and checkages for HDP-T must be dated greater than 20140917, or they will not process. Report the entries as follows:

a. To credit HDP-T:

125 004 CRED HDP-T (A) TO (B) |

(A) 8-byte from date (YYYYMMDD)

(B) 8-byte to date (YYYYMMDD)

b.  To check HDP-T:

125 001 CHEK HDP-T (A) TO (B) |
