Apprehension and Return to Military Control (RMC)

Process apprehension, IHCA coordination, MCACU escort transport, DD Form 616 return processing, and the UD-MIPS return-to-duty transaction.

Clemency and Parole Administration

Process clemency requests and parole eligibility for confined Marines per DODI 1325.07, coordinate with SECNAVINST 5815.3 DON Clemency and Parole Authority, and track post-trial review action.

Confinement Administration

Process pretrial and post-trial confinement orders, coordinate with the brig, track confinee accountability, and reconcile administrative records on confinee return or transfer.

Deserter Declaration and DD Form 553 Processing

Cut the deserter declaration at day 30, route DD Form 553 Deserter or Absentee Wanted by the Armed Forces, coordinate NCIC entry, and notify the MCACC Deserter Information Point.

MCACC Coordination and Civil Authority Liaison

Coordinate with the Marine Corps Absentee Collection Center, Deserter Information Point, and the two MCACU sites for deserter caseload, NCIC accountability, escort transport, and civilian law enforcement liaison.

Pay Reconciliation for UA, Deserter, and Confined Marines

Stop pay at UA hour 1, restart at RMC, apply court-martial forfeitures, apply NJP forfeitures, and process the desertion forfeiture disposition rules in DoDFMR Vol 7A Appendix B.

Unauthorized Absence (UA) Tracking and Reporting

Run daily muster, verify accountability against MOL and MCTFS, cut the UA UD-MIPS transaction at hour 24, and stop pay effective hour 1 of the absence.
