Who prepares, signs, and files

MCTFSPRIUM 8-0207 lays out completion of the original and one copy. The member completes parts A and B and signs and dates block 10, adding a statement there when all non-command-sponsored dependents reside in the vicinity of the PDS. The housing officer or appropriate official completes and signs block 11. The commanding officer or designated representative approves the application in block 12. After approval the unit files the original in its correspondence files per SECNAV M-5210.1, retains only the most current form, and returns the duplicate copy to the Marine. Anytime information on the current report changes, the member completes a new report.

Inspection and reporting standards

The MCAAT military pay checklist holds units to filing the OHA DD Form 2367 in the OMPF within 10 working days from the date reported on unit diary, with a parallel item measured from the effective date. FSH documents on the same form carry the same 10-working-day OMPF standard, and a separate item asks whether FSH is reported within 5 days after the effective date per applicable regulations, citing MCTFSPRIUM 9-90301.
