Scope

DoD Financial Management Regulation Volume 7B sets military pay policy for retired pay. The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) publishes the FMR. Volume 7B covers retired pay computation, entitlement, deductions, election of options, Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP), Reserve retirement and the Reserve Retired Pay system, Combat-Related Special Compensation (CRSC), Concurrent Retirement and Disability Pay (CRDP), and the cost-of-living adjustment process.
