Scope

MARADMIN 361/09 set Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay (HDIP) authority and rates for Marines performing demolition duty, signed 2009-06-12. Applicability is the Marine Corps Total Force. MARADMIN 728/12, signed 2012-12-20, supersedes the message with updated rates and eligibility.

Audience

• EOD officers (MOS 2305) and EOD technicians (MOS 2336) performing demolition duty. The portal identifies these as the typical demolition HDIP recipients.
• Commanders of units with EOD or demolition billets. Authorize demolition duty by competent orders.
• Disbursing officers and S-1 or IPAC Marines. Report demolition pay in MCTFS and process HDIP under DoD FMR Volume 7A.
• Inspectors executing the MCAAT Special and Hazardous Duty Pay checklist.

Demolition pay substantiation and reporting
