Section 80402

Discount Meal Rate (TTC 475)

Section 1

Enlisted members assigned to Essential Station Messing (ESM) will see their Basic Allowance for Subsistence (BAS) deducted for the current DMR daily rate.  Refer to PRIUM Table 8-1.  Report DMR as follows:

TTC 475 001 [A] STOP DISC MEAL RATE [B] |

Note:  When reporting TO LWAS (TTC 115 030) on a member with a DMR deduction, the system will offset DMR deduction with a credit for the period of leave (TTC 115 030 will not generate a 75% DMR credit).  Therefore, TTC 475 001 STOP DMR MUST NOT be reported. EXCEPTION:  When there is Permissive Temporary Additional Duty in conjunction with LWAS and the member is not returning to the PDS.  Example:  Member departs on 10 days Permissive Temporary Additional Duty in conjunction with LWAS at 0800, 12 February 2015; TTC 475 001 STOP DMR will be reported effective 20150212 and the system will credit the 75% DMR for 20150212.

Section 2

'BAS DISC MEAL RATE' is a deduction when the Marine is assigned to ESM.  If there is a period that the commanding officer determines the Marine should be credited the money deducted by 'BAS DISC MEAL RATE', report as follows:

Section 3
