Reservists and their families access commissary, exchange, MWR facilities, and Space-Available travel under specific eligibility rules. Drilling SELRES members have full access. IRR and Standby members have limited access. Retired Reserve members have full access at most installations.

Reservists earn federal hiring preference through service. State benefits vary widely - many states offer tuition assistance, tax exemptions, professional license waivers, and other benefits. I&I admin connects members to applicable benefits.
VA Home Loan and VA Benefits Eligibility
Reservists qualify for VA Home Loan benefits with 6 years of qualifying service or specific active duty mobilization. VA benefits also include disability compensation, vocational rehabilitation, and burial benefits depending on service connection.
