Audience
The NJP authority (CO, OIC, or officer signing By direction) signs findings, punishment, and final administrative action. Leaders prepare the pre-NJP package and track item completion. Operative content per repo evidence
- PAA 04-23 directs immediate use of the REV. 08-2023 (EF) form for NJPs and reporting of courts-martial and NJP statistical data TTCs 212-000 and 212-001, driven by FY-22 NDAA Section 549G demographic reporting.
- Signatures lock prior items in sequence. Item 16, final administrative action, locks the entire form. Portal leader pages direct holding item 16 unsigned on the unit copy while any suspended punishment stays vacatable, since vacations record in item 21 remarks before the lock.
- IGMC checks the current revision is in use with a separate binder or digital folder per calendar year, a copy provided to IPAC or the admin section for OMPF inclusion, and UPB entries consistent with unit diary entries.
- MCAAT checks NJPs report within 5 days of key supporting documents or the effective date, file to OMPF within 10 working days from the diary report date, and vacations annotate the original UPB.
