Demobilization Overview
Per MCRAMM Chapter 10, demobilization is the process of transitioning Reserve members from active duty back to drilling status or other component status. The process must address.

Demobilization Stages
Stage 1 - Theater Departure

Performance Steps for I&I Admin
When member returns from mobilization.
Step 1 - Confirm Member's Return
Coordinate with member.
- Verify return date

Step 2 - Process Active Duty Status End
Critical UD/MIPS transaction.
- UD/MIPS active duty end transaction
- Effective date of demobilization
- Coordinate with PAC
Step 3 - Coordinate Pay Transition
Active duty pay ends.
- Active duty BAH and BAS deactivate
- Specific deployment pays end (HFP/IDP, FSA, CZTE)
- Drill pay categories reactivate (if continuing SMCR)
Step 4 - Activate TAMP Coverage
Per 10 USC 114510 USC 1145.

Step 5 - Coordinate Healthcare Transition
For long-term healthcare.
- TRICARE Prime active duty (during TAMP)
