Scope
MARADMIN 575/24 announces an immediate change to the Annual Fitness Report Schedule in MCO 1610.7B Performance Evaluation System (PES). Beginning in 2025, the annual reporting period for Active Reserve E5 through E8 ends on the last day of October. Active Reserve Marines who received an AR fitness report in March 2024 receive another abbreviated fitness report using the DC occasion ending 30 November 2024. The 2024 reporting period aligns with the new promotion selection board schedule under MCBul 5420. Omission and extension criteria under MCO 1610.7B and MARADMIN 634/23 remain in effect. Applicability is the Marine Corps Total Force.
Audience
- Reporting Seniors (RS) and Reviewing Officers (RO) for Active Reserve E5 through E8. Apply the new October end date.
- Active Reserve E5 through E8 Marines. Receive the abbreviated DC report ending 30 November 2024 in the transition year.
- S-1 staff and admin (0102, 0111). Track the new annual cycle. Process FITREPs in MCTFS.
- Performance Evaluation Section (MMPB-23). Adjudicates questions on the change.
- Promotion selection board members. Apply the timely AR FITREPs in board deliberations.
Schedule change
- Active Reserve E5 through E8 annual reporting period. End of October starting in 2025.
- Transition reports. Active Reserve Marines who received an AR fitness report in March 2024 receive another abbreviated fitness report. The occasion is DC (date of change), ending 30 November 2024.
- Alignment. The 2024 reporting period aligns with the FY25 selection board schedule in MCBul 5420.
- Omission and extension. The criteria in MCO 1610.7B and the modifications in MARADMIN 634/23 stay in effect.
Action items
- Identify every Active Reserve E5 through E8 Marine in the unit.
- For Active Reserve E5 through E8 with an AR report dated March 2024, prepare an abbreviated DC FITREP ending 30 November 2024.
- Confirm the 2025 annual cycle target. End of October.
- Audit FITREP tracking against MCBul 5420 board schedule. Confirm reports submit in time for FY25 boards.
- Apply MARADMIN 634/23 omission and extension criteria. 180 days for AN and AR. 89 days for SA.
