What IRR Is
Per MCRAMM Chapter 8 and 10 USC 1014410 USC 10144, the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) consists of Reserve members with remaining military service obligation but who do not drill with SMCR units. IRR is part of the Ready Reserve, subject to mobilization but not actively training.
