Standby Transfer Eligibility

Per MCRAMM Chapter 9, transfer to Standby Reserve requires meeting specific eligibility conditions.

General Requirements

• Completion of initial obligated service period

Specific ASL Eligibility

Transfer From SELRES to Standby

Most common Standby transfer. SELRES (Selected Reserve, which covers SMCR units, IMAs, and Active Reserve Marines) is the drilling pool the member leaves.
